Banpresto Colosseum IV (Zoro figure)

Hi guys,

I have some information on all the figures that are going to be participating on the Banpresto Colosseum IV contest.

As you know even when they decide who wins the contest, pretty much Banpresto releases all of the figures. Which for us its pretty pretty good since each the figures get better each year.

I’m going to start with the creator of the Zoro figure. His name is Nakano Noriaki

Before I start showing the pictures, I will say that I got this information from the following japanese site (http://bfc.bpnavi.jp/zoukeio4/profile2.html) which is the main page of the contest. On this website they interviewed each of the sculptors and this are some of the questions:

Why do you become a sculptor?

A: Since I was a kid I like to draw and I always wanted to create figures. I studied metal crafts in college, and last year I received a job to create a prototype of Raoh (character from (Fist of the north start). Even when I struggle I wanted to create more than a prototype.

Why did you chose Zoro?

A: Well I actually wanted to create a MontBlac Cricket but when I asked a friend about it he told me I was crazy and then when he said what about Zoro. I went like yes I can do Zoro and it will be better if I can make a scene from the actual manga.

Impressions of finishing the work?

A: Well I was impressed about the level of great sculptors from this competitions and the finish was a road of trial and error.But on my two week I make sure that I could do my best work.

What was the most difficult part for you?

A: The face because it had to be very similar to the manga. I also had a hard time with the wrinkles of the clothing

Which scene did you used for your figure?

A: I used the scene when Zoro cuts Money at Punk Hazard

Finally, here are the rest of the pictures with Zoro finished and painted. Also, forgot to say that the contest it’s an (all vs all) and it won’t be a bracket competition. There will be only a one time voting, the winner will be announced. I will continue tomorrow with the Nami figure. So, stay tuned and let me know if you liked my post.

Megahobby Expo 2014 Autumn (Megahouse Zoro and Bon Clay)

I always leave the good stuff for last, well not really good stuff for me cause I love this two characters.

Megahouse will be releasing an Original Zoro with his original clothing and a what it seems to be an Impel Down Bon Chan.

Few things come to my mind with these two figures.

1) Is Megahouse thinking of making new and better original figures?

2) Impel Down figure, does that mean that they are thinking of making Impel down figures (Ivankov, Inazuma, Magellan, Buggy?), we don’t know.

I guess we need to wait and see and we don’t have to wait a lot there is the winter expo coming up soon hahahaha.

Megahobby Expo 2014 CB R2 (More Megahouse CBs) Brook – Boa and More

I’m happy to post these new figures. This time let me show you some new additions to the POP CB collection and some good news for the people that don’t have the CB figures. As you might know because I posted that Megahouse its re-releasing the CB series. They already re-released the following figures: Sanji, Luffy and Robin CBs.

Well now it seems that they will be releasing the new batch of Zoro, Nami (no more 100 dollars for her) and Nojiko.

Just by seeing this Nami and Nojiko it got me thinking that they might re-release Bellemere and maybe a more improved one.

Bad news for those who have her because if they re-release her then they can sell for a lot of money.

Before I forget, Megahouse also is going to release a new CB Brook and a new Boa (really don’t know why a Boa but she looks nice).

But well, enough of the chit chat, here are the new upcoming CB figures.

38th prize fair photos (Cool cool things coming)

Well first of all many thanks for banplanet for these amazing images from the 38th prize fair.

First of all lets start by showing the image of the figure of Monkey D Luffy. I’m happy because I’m getting this one and will review it once I can. This is the Kings of Artist of Monkey D. Luffy

Now let me show you some figures which I think are Banpresto figures. First a figure well two figure of Aokiji and then two figures of Zoro. Both figure have a color and a monochromatic one. Love them both but since I’m a big fan of Zoro, I have to say that the Zoro figure its amazing. Hope I can see this figure soon for pre-order.

Now, let me show you two wcf collections. First lets start what it seems to be a punk hazard collection, followed by another collection which I think its a old bosses collection or something like that.

Finally, let me finish with two wcf figures that excited me the most when I saw them. I know you will love these figures. First one is a scene from Luffy and Shanks and last one is the epic moment that everybody loves but I think made everybody sad.

This epic moment is the one between Luffy and Ace. Man I still feel sad every time I see this episode, don’t you?

This figure I really think got created because of the awesome drawing of a japanese newspaper and if you recall it was on a page of the New York Times.

Last but not least its the figure of Banpresto Scultures Colosseum of Franky. I like this figure of Franky but well is Iron Franky instead of Franky but we still love him and make an awesome excitement face even if the girls don’t like it.

Space Expo Jump Carnival Victory Part 5 (Scultures Figures)

The show continues, this time the next set of figures is from the Scultures series.

These figures as you might remember are form the Colosseum contested that the company made a few months back. The figures that I think are the best ones are Luffy Nightmare and you have to get the set of DoFlamingo and Law (they are sold separately) but man you need to pose them like the pictures.

WCF Liu Gu Kingdom figures (pictures and boxes)

Here are some pictures of the upcoming WCF set of the Liu Gu Kingdom.

It seems that this set will be separated in two different volumes. As you can see in the pictures there are 4 figures and Shirahoshi. Also as you can notice some of this figures are parts that act like a jigsaw. Once you connect them all you get a pretty awesome big figure.

Lastly here’s the last picture, which shows you what I’m talking about. I’m pretty sure these figure are going to complete the full set of figures. So what do you think? Who from here collects WCFs so they can share their opinion.
